ALTFISHBIKE Battery Care & Charging
User Manual · Quick Start
Unboxing Checklist
Confirm you received the vehicle, charger, and any accessories listed on the product page before you begin. Keep the box and foam for the 15-day return window.
First Charge & Activation
Use ONLY the charger included in the box. Do not use third-party fast chargers or “compatible” marketplace chargers.
Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface, never on carpet or near curtains, and stay nearby while charging.
We recommend a full charge before the very first ride so the battery management system can balance the cells.
Charge duration varies by model (approx. 4–5 hours on our e-scooters). Do not leave the battery charging unattended overnight.
Battery Care & Storage
Store the battery in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
Avoid draining the battery to 0% repeatedly. For longer storage, keep the charge between 30% and 60%.
Do not immerse the battery in water or pressure-wash around it.
If the battery or charger ever feels hot, smells odd, or appears swollen, stop using it immediately and contact support@altfishbike.com.
Maintenance Schedule
Weekly: check tire pressure and inspect for cuts or wear.
Monthly: inspect brake hardware and recharge connections for corrosion or looseness.
Every 100 miles (approx.): check fasteners, brake pads, and suspension/bearing surfaces.
Keep the electrical contacts clean and dry. During heavy use, service the drivetrain per the manual below for your model.
FAQ
Q: How long does the battery last?
A: Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, throttle, and temperature. Plan for well under the best-case marketing figure on our e-scooters, and refer to each product’s range spec for a ballpark under average conditions.
Q: Can I ride in the rain?
A: Light splashes are usually fine; avoid pressure-washing and never submerge the motor or battery compartment. Dry any wet parts before charging.
Q: Do I need a license or registration?
A: It depends on your state and where you ride. Check your state’s DMV rules before using on public roads.
