Warranty Policy

Factory-backed coverage you can count on, backed by our own Yongkang manufacturing facility.

Warranty Coverage at a Glance

  • Frame & structural components: 2 years
  • Motor & controller: 1 year
  • Lithium-ion battery: 1 year (or 800 charge cycles, whichever comes first)
  • Charger: 1 year
  • Other electrical components (display, lights, wiring harness): 6 months
  • Wear items (brake pads, tires, tubes, grips, cables): 90 days against manufacturing defects

Warranty coverage begins on the date of original delivery and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

What Is Covered

ALTFISHBIKE warrants that every product we ship will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. If a covered component fails due to a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, we will, at our option, repair or replace the defective part using genuine new or refurbished components.

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by accident, collision, stunt riding, jumping, or racing.
  • Water damage beyond the product's stated IP rating (never submerge scooters in standing water).
  • Normal wear and tear on consumable parts such as tires, brake pads, and grips.
  • Unauthorized repair, disassembly, modification, or use of non-genuine replacement parts.
  • Damage from improper charging, use of a third-party charger, or storage with a fully depleted battery for extended periods.
  • Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, and faded paint that does not affect function.
  • Labor costs for installation of replacement parts outside of our approved service centers.

How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Email support@altfishbike.com with your order number, a short description of the issue, and clear photos or video.
  2. Our technical team will diagnose the problem and may request additional information.
  3. For valid claims, we will ship genuine replacement parts from our California warehouse at no charge.
  4. If the issue cannot be resolved with replacement parts, we will arrange a repair, exchange, or pro-rated refund.

Battery Care to Preserve Warranty

To maximize battery lifespan and keep your warranty valid: use only the original ALTFISHBIKE charger, avoid charging in temperatures below 0°C (32°F) or above 45°C (113°F), do not leave the battery fully discharged for more than 2 weeks, and charge to approximately 60% before long-term storage.
